At 1CV3Career, protecting your personal data is a core commitment. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under GDPR and applicable privacy laws.
1.Data We Collect
When you use 1CV3Career, we collect only the data necessary to provide the service: your email address (to deliver results), your CV file in PDF format (processed to perform the AI analysis; not stored permanently), your country selection (to tailor salary benchmarks and company suggestions), your language preference, and payment data processed directly by our payment provider. We do not collect your name, phone number, or social media profiles.
2.How We Use Your Data
Your data is used exclusively to provide the 1CV3Career service: analyze your CV and generate personalized career documents, deliver those documents to your email, process your payment, and respond to support requests. We never sell your data to third parties. We never use your CV for marketing purposes.
3.AI Processing
Your CV is processed by AI technology providers to generate your analysis and career documents. The text content of your CV is transmitted to these providers under strict data processing agreements. Your CV is never used to train AI models — processing agreements with our providers explicitly prohibit the use of user-submitted content for model training or improvement.
4.Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure cloud servers located in the European Union. We apply industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256), access controls, and regular security reviews. Your CV and generated documents are stored temporarily to allow retrieval and are not shared beyond the providers required to operate the service.
5.Data Retention
Your CV file and generated documents are automatically deleted after 30 days from the date of your analysis. Your email address is retained for 12 months for support purposes, then deleted. Payment records are retained as required by applicable tax regulations (typically 7 years). You may request early deletion at any time by contacting support@1cv3career.com.
6.Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies required for basic functionality and anonymous, aggregated analytics to understand how users interact with the service. No personally identifiable information is collected for analytics. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party advertising trackers.
7.Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EEA, you have the right of access (request a copy of your data), rectification (correct inaccurate data), erasure (right to be forgotten), data portability, the right to object to processing, and the right to restrict processing. 8.California Residents (CCPA)

9.Responsible AI
Our AI suggestions are designed to assist your career planning. Final decisions remain entirely yours. Company suggestions are based on publicly available data and may not reflect current hiring status. Salary estimates are market benchmarks, not guarantees. We do not use your data to discriminate based on protected characteristics.
10.Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
